From the 14th to the 16th of June, 2022, the EACWP launches the fifth Premium Virtual Edition of its European Course for Teachers of Creative Writing. Worldwide participants are welcome to join us. Enrollments are already open until June, 10th, 2022
We are very pleased to start the new year announcing the enrollment process for the fifth virtual edition of our Teachers Training Course, which, as in its regular format, will comprise three different workshops that will take place on Tuesday, 14th, Wednesday, 15th and Thursday, 16th of June from 17.00 to 19.00 (CET)
Additionally, over these sessions, our three EACWP teachers will share their different methodologies, approaches and experiences in the teaching of creative writing by offering a so called “auteur workshop” by performing and explaining their own ars pedagogica like jazz musicians that are able to move away from the score and let themselves to be guided by their own art, beat and innerness. That’s what we actually look for the teaching band of this course.
All the working sessions will be focused on both a theoretical and practical approach and on pedagogical training to empower the participants to develop their own teaching interests and new possibilities.
These are the three sessions of this fifth Premium Virtual Edition 2022:
- Tuesday, 14th: Revising our work while revising ourselves / John Vigna (University of British Columbia / Canada)
- Wednesday 15h: Brief Encounters: Once Met, Never Forgotten/ Claire Collison (NAWE / UK)
- Thursday 16th: Food Writing: Much More than Writing about Food/ Mercedes Cebrián (Spain)
The sessions will be celebrated through Zoom.
After the success of the past Premium Virtual Editions with more than 30 different nationalities represented, we are very keen to welcoming new worldwide participants in order to continue strengthening the EACWP pedagogical dialogue.
You may find more information about the schedule, the syllabus, course fees, scholarships and fees here.
Enrollments will be open until June, 10th (2022).
