The deadline for the call for papers will be open until October, 31st. Non-member may also participate
NAWE is the one organization supporting the development of creative writing of all genres and in all educational and community settings throughout the UK. Thus, this conference is the essential event for all those involved in creative writing at any level. NAWE invites writers and teachers to share their various approaches to writing and to the teaching and researching of creative writing at all levels. It runs from Friday lunchtime through to Sunday midday, with special events scheduled in the evenings. This year, the conference wil be celebrated on a virtual basis on March, 12th and 13th (2021).
Proposals for workshops, talks and panels exploring the teaching and facilitation of creative writing in education and community settings are invited for NAWE’s first ever online conference. This will be an opportunity to share, to network and to raise a glass to resilience, all from the comfort of your own home!
You can expect a packed and lively programme that will include: Talks, Panels, Open mic, Workshops and Author events. And we’ll be thinking about the bigger picture as we explore how our sector adapts to these ever-changing times. Going virtual will mean greater isolation-busting opportunities to connect with peers from around the UK and Internationally than ever before. And you don’t have to be a member of NAWE to submit a proposal. We look forward to welcoming you!
