From the 8th to the 10th of November, the National Association of Writers in Education will celebrate its annual event in York. The full program is now available
NAWE is the one organization supporting the development of creative writing of all genres and in all educational and community settings throughout the UK. Thus, this conference is the essential event for all those involved in creative writing at any level. NAWE invites writers and teachers to share their various approaches to writing and to the teaching and researching of creative writing at all levels. It runs from Friday lunchtime through to Sunday midday, with special events scheduled in the evenings.
The conference full program is already available and may be downloaded here. This year, NAWE is announcing an exclusive special partnership with the Aesthetica Short Film Festival, offering NAWE delegates the chance to take part in the Virtual Reality experience, attend a masterclass with Oscar-nominated filmmakers, and see a film screening, all on Thursday 7 November.
Additionally, some of the most noted interventions will be published in NAWE’s journal Writing in Education, which is available by submission.
After five years taking part in the event, the EACWP thoroughly encourages its members and worldwide colleagues to participate and enjoy the valuable pedagogical program and inspiring environment the conference offers every year.
