The 2018 Symposium will take place in Brussels (Belgium), the first two days of events: 12 and 13. The next three days are dedicated to our biennial International Pedagogical Conference: 14, 15 and 16. The host institution will be Creatief Schrijven. The symposium will take place at Pianofabriek and the conference at deBuren.
The symposium and the conferences will be held in English. Check this link to have the latest version of the symposium agenda and this link to have the conference information. If you want to attend, please fill in the registration form before September the 7th. The registration form is the same one for the two events, choose there your preferences!
Fees, accommodation and extra nights
Conference fee (the EACWP Symposium is free for members and applying members):
- Fee for EACWP and NAWE members: 40€ (1 day), 80€ (2 days)
- Fee for general public: 70€ (1 day), 120€ (2 days)
Accommodation fee (if you choose Sleepwell Hostel):
- Single room: 41€ per night
- Shared room: 31€ per night

As this conference is an ideal opportunity to expand your network and learn from and get inspirered by others, Creatief Schrijven has chosen to locate the creative hub at Sleepwell Hostel. Creatief Schrijven has made a reservation so international attendees of the symposium and conference can stay overnight at this location. This way you can easily meet with and talk to other participants before or after the conference and it’s only a 5 minute walk to the conference location.

We will like to recommend you the conference of Flanders Literature on Monday 17th of September if you stay on more night in Brussels. The event focuses on the structural changes in the literature and book sector with the aim of more inclusion. The program consists of international keynotes in the morning and a workshop in the afternoon. More info about this conference will soon be provided here.
