‘Creative Writing and Creative Culture’ symposium

The International Poetry Studies Institute (IPSI) in the UK invites to attend its pedagogical encounter on 24 June, 2016

Hosted by York St. John University, the ‘Creative Writing and Creative Culture’ symposium will take place on 24 June, 9.30am–4.30pm. An evening reading/performance will follow at 6pm. The event is free of charge, but for catering purposes, please, contact the organizers in advance if you wish to attend.

Participants include: Katharine Coles (University of Utah); Owen Bullock, Monica Carroll, Paul Hetherington, Paul Munden, Shane Strange, Jen Webb (University of Canberra); Kate Holborn, Andrew Melrose, Tom Masters, Julian Stannard (University of Winchester); Naomi Booth, Kimberley Campanello, John Hughes, Helen Pleasance, JT Welsch (York St John University); Anne Caldwell, Oliver Comins.

And finally, IPSI invites entries to the University of Canberra Vice-Chancellor’s International Poetry Prize, offering one of the largest prizes in the world ($15,000) for a single poem. Deadline for entries is 30 June 2016.
