From January, 15 (2018) to March, 1 (2018) the EACWP makes extensive to all writers living in the continent the invitation to write Europe in a snapshot of 100 words and participate in more than ten different European languages
In regard of our XIII EACWP symposium, recently celebrated in Vienna (May, 25- May, 28) and hosted by our partners from the Vienna Poetry School / schule für dichtun (sfd), our new individual member, Cal Smyth (UK), has written this spirited and genuine testimony, which is worth more than anything that could be really said. Our 2017 Symposium will be celebrated in Vienna (Austria), from May, 25 to May 28, organised by our partners of the Vienna Poetry School.
Thanks to our EACWP Teachers’ Interchange Programme along with the support of the Eramus+ programme, our Austrian colleague from the Vienna Poetry School (sfd), the sound poet and scientist Jörg Piringer held in English this two-days workshop in Turin. What follows is a snapshot of his experience in the headqueaters of Holden.
Daniel Saavedra, our Chilean colleague from Escuela de Escritores (Madrid), was recently the official Spanish teacher for the Creative Writing class at the Vienna Poetry School (May, 2016). The course was organised in the context of the EACWP Teachers’ Interchange Programme, supported by Erasmus+. In the following text, Saavedra describes the methodology used over his course and reports his impressions about the pedagogical and cultural relevance of his teaching experience in Vienna.
On 24th of November, this book written in English by poet Camilo Antonio (alias Caminante) with illustrations by Ion Neculai was launched at the Vienna Poetry School (sfd). At the launch, a performative reading by Camilo Antonio with Urbannomadmixes took place. The exhibition of the artwork by Ion Neculai will be opened at sfd’s premises until January, 29, 2016.
