From the 10th to the 12th of November, the National Association of Writers in Education will celebrate its annual event in York. Proposals are now invited with a deadline of 1 May
Thanks to our Teachers Interchange Programme, Frank Tazeelar, the director of the Institute of the Arts (ArtEZ / The Netherlands) imparted a three days lesson focused on “Strategies for writers in an interaction environment” to the masters’ students of Escuela de Escritores in Madrid.
Our 2017 Symposium will be celebrated in Vienna (Austria), from May, 25 to May 28, organised by our partners of the Vienna Poetry School.
From June, 24 to July, 3, our colleague Linda Lappin (USA / Italy) will be imparting a multi-genre prose workshop focused on the process of world building in our writing, resorting to her recent awarded work ‘The soul of place’ as well as to the ancestral landscape and mythic soil of one of the Greek Cycladic islands: Andros. Registration is already open.
The third issue of Writing in Practice has now been published and is openly accessible on the NAWE website. The deadline for submissions to Volume 4 is on 16 June 2017.
Newcastle (UK) will be the hosting city of this major event for the whole of the discipline of English, concerning the study of English literature, language and Creative Writing. Booking is now open for participants. Also, the programme of the conference is already available
Cuaderno exquisito is a publishing project headed by a group of young European philology students (Belgian/Portuguese/Spanish) collecting stories for an international and multilingual collection. 3000-word texts in French, Spanish, Galician, Italian or Portuguese are welcome. The deadline for participants interested is April, 30, (2017)
