On 24th of November, this book written in English by poet Camilo Antonio (alias Caminante) with illustrations by Ion Neculai was launched at the Vienna Poetry School (sfd). At the launch, a performative reading by Camilo Antonio with Urbannomadmixes took place. The exhibition of the artwork by Ion Neculai will be opened at sfd’s premises until January, 29, 2016.
In collaboration with the pedagogical magazine L’Inventoire from our French colleagues of Aleph-Écriture (Paris), Louise Muller, representing the editorial team, has carried out a series of interviews to some of our EACWP members with the aim of inquiring into how writing is taught in Europe and elsewhere, but enphasising the location, the geographical implantation and the close environment of the different institutions. This is the second interview held with Mariana Torres, representative of Escuela de Escritores in Madrid.
On behalf of the EACWP, our colleague Harriet Nachtmann from the Vienna Poetry School / sfd (Austria) attended and participated in the annual pedagogical event of the National Association of Writers in Education (UK). The following text is a first hand account of her experience in Durham over the weekend of the 13th of November.
From the 13th to the15th of November, the National Association of Writers in Education will celebrate its XXI conference in Durham (UK). Harriet Nachtmann from the Vienna Poetry Academy will be the official representative of the EACWP. Along with her, other colleagues from continental Europe such as Lucian Georgescu (Roumania) and Erik Vanhee (Belgium) will actively participate in the event.
